Mark Kreitzer is a unique solo performer. He is both an award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. With 45 years of experience on stages across the country and overseas, Mark is comfortable with the most intimate of house concert audiences, and also is at home on a festival stage before thousands. Just the fact that he performs on guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle sets him apart, but add to that his original bluegrass, jazz, folk and country songs, and he stands in a very elite group of musicians. A typical show might have songs from the Beatles, James Taylor, Bill Monroe, Ernest Tubb and Tom Paxton, flavored liberally with fiddle tunes from Ireland, Canada and America. Mark has also fashioned sets for a particular audience, such as music from 1947, or American fiddle tunes, and he has been commissioned to write for the stage, such as the 2012 original adaptation of Mark Twain’s Life On The Mississippi. Please have a listen to Mark, and get in touch to hire him for your next private party, house concert or folk festival.
